Alhaurin is a very unique club, it is the only club on the Costa del sol that has an 18 hole golf course with a 9 hole par 3 course to iron out any pitching faults, also Alhaurin has the added bonus of having a junior 18 hole course to get any up and coming youngster started in the game but a adult must be present for the child to play.
The main course is a par 72 measuring from the yellows 6283 yards/5712metres and if you want a longer test the white tees are 6649 yards/6045metres, designed by Seve Ballesteros Alhaurin is a course that can meet the demands of all levels of golf from scratch handicaps to high handicaps.
When playing the main course you will come up against challenging holes which test both your accuracy and course management there fore any miss hit or wild tee shot will be punished, we would recommend that a buggy would be beneficial as the course is situated in amongst the beautiful natural terrain of the Mijas mountain range which gives you sensational views of the Mediterranean sea and North Africa.
